Cinderella in the South and other stories is a collection of South African tales compiled by the English Anglican writer Arthur Shearly Cripps, whose notable works include Titania and Other Poems, Magic Casements, The Brooding Earth, and Pilgrim's Joy Verses.

This collection contains more than twenty short stories and fairy tales such as The thing that hath been, New light on an old champion, Fuel of fire, The place of pilgrimage, The leper windows, Eight-Eight in Lavender, The double cabin, A Credit balance, and The black death.
